For a CHALLENGE TROPHY and Mementoes to the winning Owner and Rider
PRIZE MONEY: 1st £160, 2nd £95, 3rd £85, 4th £80. Total Prize Fund £420
SPECIAL CONDITIONS: For horses which on or since 1st October 2022 have not won any race under the rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points excepted); nor any Men’s, Ladies or Mixed Open Point-to-Points in this period, which are owned and ridden by current members of the PPORA; Owners and Riders must be an eligible member of the PPORA by declaration of the horse. For information on how to satisfy these conditions, please refer to www.ppora.co.uk.
PENALTIES: For each win on or since 1st October 2022 in a Conditions race at the same Level or higher (to include Confined, Club Association, Service or Society Point-to-Point races) to carry 3lb extra. Maximum penalty to be carried is 10lb. Penalties are cumulative.

SPECIAL CONDITIONS: For horses aged five years and over only, For horses which at starting have not won any Race under the Rules of any Recognised Racing Authority other than National Hunt Flat races or Flat races, or any Point-to-Point Steeplechase other than Maiden Races, Hunt Members Races or no more than one Restricted race.
PENALTIES: A previous winner of a Restricted race to carry 5lb extra

ALLOWANCES: Riders who, prior to the Thursday before the date of this Point-to-Point Steeplechase, have not ridden more than 5 winners under the Rules of Racing or the Rules of a recognised Racing Authority, Point-to-Point Steeplechases or Arabian Horse Races; 5lb.
PENALTIES: Penalties apply for wins on or since 1st October 2023 in an eligible Steeplechase or Hurdle race under the Rules of any recognised Racing Authority (Point-to-Points excepted) or in a Mens, Ladies or Mixed Open Point-to-Point; for one such win 3lb extra; for two such wins 5Ilb for three or more such wins 7lb; maximum total penalty to be carried is 7lb.
